Bio: Dean Parker born 1966 Newcastle, Australia. Studied guitar with Steve Cowley. Dean Parker moved to New York City, USA in 1996. Dean started assisting film composer Carter Burwell in 1998. He continues to assist Carter Burwell on over 100 film music scores. Dean has a family which includes two sons, Jackson, Zeke and Kylie. He is active in public education policy in NYC and has served as an elected education advocate for Bronx as well as an education researcher at Teachers College at Columbia University. Dean produces music and sound designs in TV, film and theater, along with performing a set of outdoor guitar grooves, ambient tones and spacial reflections at outdoor events in the NYC region.

Ian – I know it is getting late in the process, I am left with several of John’s items. featured is a suitcase of promo material, BIO, hand written notes and promo, it’s incredible. I can send you some text photos of what is in it – maybe you have things like it, but this is John’s personal book. It should be in a museum of cabaret in Australia. Dean
